More About Me
Born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, I am a desert girl at heart. I have always been interested in health and originally thought I wanted to be a surgeon. I am pretty sure my mom still has a class project from when I was in 5th grade, where I made surgical tools from ancient Egypt out of cardboard and aluminum foil. In college, I had the opportunity to participate in a health education outreach program in Ecuador and a study abroad program in Denmark. After those experiences, I was hooked on public health.
Outside of my work, I am a huge sports fan and you will always find me rooting for my hometown teams (Go Suns)! I also love being outside and on the weekend there is a good chance you can catch me hiking, rock climbing, or kayaking.
